💚 Who Can Apply Under the Family Violence Provisions

You may be eligible to apply if:

• You hold, or have applied for, a Partner visa (subclass 820, 309, or 300) or a Dependent Child visa.
• You experienced domestic or family violence during your relationship.
• The violence was committed by your partner or spouse while you were together.
• You are no longer in that relationship because of the violence.

⚖️ Visa Types That May Qualify

Eligibility depends on your visa category:

• Partner visa holders or applicants (subclass 820, 309, or 300) may qualify if the sponsor was the perpetrator.
• Dependent children can be included if their parent applies under the same provisions.
• Secondary visa holders on other visas may qualify if the primary applicant was responsible for the violence.
